On October 1th, University of Cologne, chief professor of Byzantine Studies gave a report in NENU. Dr. Sood specializes in research and teaching in the late ancient and Byzantine history, studied ancient Greek and Byzantine literature circulated, study ancient Greek manuscript, seal science, cultural history of Constantinople, late antiquity and the Byzantine court etiquette, the Byzantine Empire and relationship between the Islamic world and other aspects. Visit to long, she teaches History and Culture Festival 10 "Byzantine history and culture" courses, and made three field relates to the forefront of Byzantine history, religion and other topics of public recognition and lectures. Her lectures and seminars rich, strong professional knowledge, teaching methods without losing the humor, fascinating, by the majority of teachers and students a warm welcome. At the same time, she is still spare time college students and conduct free dialogue, to guide their theses and training abroad matters. October 17-18, she was invited to participate in the Fourth World Symposium Mr. Zhu atlas Academic Thought History of Civilization seminar sponsored by the Institute of History and Culture, and gave a closing ceremony speech.
