Professor Xinyang Wang to center for academic report

On September 12th,2016,at the invitation of the institute of history and culture of northeast normal university,Professor Xinyang Wang gave lectures for 10 days. Professor wang as the main entry point to a new American social history, mainly discusses the three major themes of the American social history: race, gender, class.And by adopting the combination of social history and political history perspective, analysis the social labor movement, ethnic and other issues.Professor wang believes that a lot of problems only in the perspective of the combination of social history and political history, can be more reasonable and comprehensive interpretation, and the labor movement in the history of the United States as an example, made a wonderful interpretation. Professor wang will be the class, as compared with the race issue is discussed in the late 19th century and early 20th century American government treat social unrest double standards, through the qualitative violence defined again and again, and reminds us that we should not continue to ethnic contradictions and class conflicts in American history. By combining the history of American labor and diplomatic history, also let everybody more comprehensive understanding of American foreign policy formulation and implementation process.
